We ended up with two girls named for Princess Buttercup from movie "Princess Bride" . When a family from nearby Eagle River picked a girl out they said that their girls insisted that it HAD to be named Buttercup. Well since the two dogs weren't living together and our Buttercup never really responded to that name, we changed our girl to Butters. Buttercup landed in a family of four girls, from age 1 year to nine, and one older lab. The oldest girl is interested in showing Buttercup, who had already shown that she is a good showdog, but needs more training. |
