Our little Yellow Girl, who we've named Colby somehow injured her foot. It's damage to a ligament in the wrist. How extensive it is we don't know. The vet say we will know more after 6-8 weeks of her leg being splinted. The wrist could be healed at best and at worst she could lose the leg. She's on anti-inflamatories and anti-biotic's. She does not evidence any pain, just annoyance that she can't get into the pen and beat up her brothers. She is actually using the splinted leg to walk and run with.
The good news now is that the injury may have healed. She is still limping, but less each day. We don't know if the minp is caused by the ligament not being healed, or the fact the her leg atrophyed while in the splint.

At any rate, we are looking for a good home for her. Her injury might preclude her as a hunter, agility dog or confirmation. But she would make a good companion or family pet and maybe a good therapy dog
